I was especially proud about topping the route pictured above and below, as I lost my footing when moving over to the big voluminous grip, but was able to recover from that and have enough strength left and my fear of heights under control that I was able to top out.

Went #bouldering this morning, first session of the year in my regular gym. And despite currently suffering from a toothache (wish me luck the tooth recovers please) I managed to top plenty of routes and even one that I didn't yet dare to commit to before Christmas - the one pictured that we call "The Slide" because that is what it basically is, but without any safety rails. So all in all quite happy with myself about this 😊

Started my vacation in style by finally going #bouldering again. The idea being that if that would take most of my energy I could just take a nap afterwards. Which I actually had to 😅Now bracing myself for the Soreness of Doom™️ I expect to suffer from come tomorrow.

Got pulled into work and completely forgot to share my #bouldering stats from this morning.Only topped 4 routes but made progress on the new roof route (fb6A) and got some ideas on another I still keep slipping on. I consider this progress.Extremely glad I can finally do this twice per week again, gives me a chance to build up strength and skin again. This year really sucked health wise 😅

Almost forgot to share today's #bouldering stats. Better grip than Wednesday but definitely still not back at my normal level. Would have been a big surprise though in any case given I had to take a break of pretty much two months (with one attempt in between).
