@h3artbl33d windows is never secure, that's their goal. it's always "been a feature" never a goal. there are enough technically smart people in Redmond who could have fixed or prevented issues over the years but they never do - the coincidence goes in a parallel diagonal up and to the right: profit, anti-security, anti-privacy, anti-openness, anti-competitive, anti-ethical. Microsoft is not a good company, they do not make good products, and they export their failures everywhere they exist. Windows is a virus magnet, maker, and distributor. It's always been this way, since the start. Having worked with their engineering teams to build extremely fat interconnects on masses of dark fiber, ostensibly to "connect the world..." (yeah right), they are both a monolithic monopoly-reliant corporation and yet individually most employees I've worked with there have been reasonable and decent people. Sad situation.
