@noodlemazI think it's reasonable to debate on the effectiveness of this kind of (mostly prohibitionistic) interventions, but the principles under it are only good.Tobacco is a drug, and a badly addictive and damaging one... Plus it basically never existed in european countries as anything else than a money hungry capitalistic cartel.Any sort of leniency towards tobacco and its producers is either brainwashed romanticism for the substance or the kind of leniency that addict people instinctively give themselves (it often goes from the first to the second when the addiction grows and if failed attempt at stopping start to pile up).I talk as an ex smoker, by the way.
