@blogdiva it's not necessarily drinking water. Many coastal nuclear power plants draw from the ocean and only consume a very small amount of it. Even those drawing from fresh water sources don't generally consume the water, they use it for once-through cooling.The environmental impact of putting heat into the environment from this def exists but I'm not sure it's on the same scale as fossil fuels.
