@ai6yr I adopted the carabiner as soon as it spread from the climber world. then I added retractable cable/chains. its the only way I can be assured I won't just put something down and wander off or having things escape a pocket. wallet, chapstick, keys, phone. I basically created a modern version of the chatelaine.I'm almost to the point of wearing a camel bak so I stop losing my water bottles.
