@MichaelWhelan THAT PAINTING made such an impression on my editor at Ace that when I handed her a novel that was an explicit tribute to "Friday" in 2007 ("Saturn's Children") she briefed the art director to commission a homage to your painting.Unfortunately what they horked up was this … (I was not amused!)

@MichaelWhelan I like painting on masonite. I find it needs a fair amount of gesso on it but gives a nice final product

@kaliranya @MichaelWhelan I'm with you, I loved that series in 1979 when I was 14, lived in Virginia and thought that "dead baby" jokes were super funny.
