@davidhund there are some red flags around Signal for time now: - Jurisdiction. Signal Foundation is based in the US & needs to adhere to US legislation & possible worse. - Network is centralized & controlled by Signal Foundation. Single point of failure.- Hosting: Signal uses bigtech clouds to operate on a global scale. Contributing to bigtech's impact on our world. - Money. Signal Foundations pays bigtech wages while asking for donations. This is not sustainable in the long run.1/2
