US, remote work.all the things I said previously (https://flipping.rocks/@inherentlee/114230874324783924) are still true - I've got 7 years experience at Microsoft in cloud infrastructure (particularly containers and Kubernetes) and devOps; I'm in my zone teaching, communicating, and documenting; and I have a strong focus on accessibility and team culture.I've also spent the last while, both a bit at Microsoft and then much more deeply since unemployment, doing web development with a focus on web accessibility.     Putting out a #Fedihired request to the Fediverse: my wife Kourtney is looking for work. Part time (or piecework of some kind), remote, flexible or asynchronous hours are preferred (though she would definitely be available for calls/meetings as needed). Located in the U.S. For the past several years, she has juggled our children and a part-time professional photography business. Prior to that, she has worked as a legal assistant to attorneys in a couple of different family law practices (note: as an assistant, not a paralegal), and has done reception and office management work previously as well.     I've seen a few people put content warnings on their "looking for work" posts. I recommend you DON'T do this. Not everyone who comes across your post will bother to expand it. Worse, content warnings prevent your post from appearing in Trending lists, limiting your reach. I'm not sure what purpose a CW would even serve here—if someone finds the fact that you're looking for work offensive or traumatizing, that's a them problem, not a you problem. #FediHired #GetFediHired #FediTips

    I want to try this again with more reach.I want to help my employer #fedihire you, and get you #fedihired. Do you want to teach ICT/CS/IT/etc in Japan? Because I am currently stepping in to take these courses but I am the head of IT, no longer an active teacher. The school uses the UK curriculum, does help with residency for those outside of Japan, has a union. Teaching credentials preferred, but how they factor in can be variable.Take my work... please!
