@elfi My wheelhouse is more delivery infrastructure and protocol and broadcast engineering, not player stuff. I do know enough about ffmpeg and AVC to scare children and small animals but I don't think I could swing turning that into a player dev position.Sounds neat though T_T;  Might try and see anyway.

@niclake Good luck if you decide to apply! 10 or so years ago, I worked at an agency who helped these folks build the first iteration of their site and e-commerce site. They're a good group of people!

@elise FWIW it's been a nightmare finding work in today's job market, but I wish you luck! 💜I exhausted all the hardware driver/firmware development and system engineering gigs in my area, at least all every one that didn't require me to work on weapons or move to Toronto (grumble grumble AMD & Qualcomm). 🤢I ended up settling for something that feels pretty beneath me (legacy web infra that needs modernization), but I needed the money. To their credit they pay well and are queer friendly. 🥲I sincerely hope you find something, but also don't be afraid to look at gigs you could "tolerate". Being too picky left me jobless for well over a year. 😖

@gnome This is really interesting! I remember talking to Hari Rana about Debian's Developer Benefits. I think it led to some conversation, but I'm not sure if the Fellowship program was directly inspired from it. Either way, being able to pay for many different expenses via the GNOME project sounds like something that FOSS really needs.Thanks for being a beacon of light for FOSS!
