@vmj @TIBtv we need apps for every OS that handle both #owncast and #peertube, not just a channel using one of those services. that's how we displace the eventual total dominance of YT.the comparison is an app for a specific podcast instead of developing a podcatcher. there's a great app for @somafm which is an internet radio outlet with a bunch of stations, but afaict no great app for all icecast/shoutcast etc streams exists.
