đThis beautiful pear-shaped #porcelain bottle from Japan is covered in a distinctive green flambĂ© glaze.
It was made by Ishiguro KĆkĆ of the Sumida #Pottery in Tokyo, named after the nearby Sumida River.
FlambĂ© glazes such as this require high-firing temperatures and the exact results are not entirely controllable. They rely on many factors such as the thickness of the glaze application and the kilnâs atmosphere.

What are some good tools for doing 1990s pixel art? Specifically sprites, but maybe some larger backgrounds. I see someone's done a JS version of DeluxePaint! Any others people really like?
Slightly heretically, I'd love one that handled alpha channels well.

@zarfeblong @matt source being findable isn't the same as Open Source. Open Source means you can legally remix and legally sell or give away your new version.
You still can't ship a game called "Zork" (trademarks are still protected), but Open Source means the game and story can be repurposed in whatever way you want...and it means it can live forever, even if the owners of the IP decide it's not worth keeping available and playable on current hardware (which has happened a few times).

New, by me: Mozilla Says It's Finally Done with Two-Faced Onerep
In March 2024, Mozilla said it was winding down its collaboration with Onerep â an identity protection service offered with the Firefox web browser that promises to remove users from hundreds of people-search sites â after KrebsOnSecurity revealed Onerepâs founder had created dozens of people-search services and was continuing to operate at least one of them. Sixteen months later, however, Mozilla is still promoting Onerep. This week, Mozilla announced its partnership with Onerep will officially end next month.
