@astronomerritt Thank you! I'm pretty used to how I look because I'm just like this whenever I go outside, but I thought the background and light were especially pretty there? The skirt and jacket I'm pretty pleased with, both took ages to make!

@sinituulia Of course you made them yourself. I am in awe, and also moderately inspired to actually start wearing my own outfits instead of just slumming around in my pyjamas most of the time…

@astronomerritt I like making clothes and fairly recently decided that it was a little bit silly to not wear them... So here I am, just sitting at home, in Victorian-inspired clothes. 😄 It's nice! Makes me have to wash my nightdresses a little less.

I don't bother wearing hair when I'm at home, but if I'm already going to the trouble of going outside, why not!

@sinituulia I’ve got a huge collection of clothes that are mostly second-hand and vintage finds or from small boutiques, I just sort of quit being stylish when I started hardcore burning out of my academic job two or three years ago and I’ve never gotten back to it. It’s just as silly that I’m not wearing mine and I think this may be the nudge I need to start again 😅

@astronomerritt You should! You got the clothes because you liked them, if anybody deserves to see and enjoy them it's you! They're not doing anyone much good in the back of cabinets and such. Sure, there's some clothes that are probably too much of a hassle to constantly wash, but... Anything reasonably practical and comfortable? Just wear it, even if life isn't always a party, it should still be celebrated. 😄 Or something along those lines!
