@nazokiyoubinbou @Viss Exactly

Fair point. Also saves using an air freshener because it would be pointless anyway
@Viss
Also alsoImagine getting into an Uber and seeing that. Like, what else is jerry rigged about this ride? Are the brakes a pair of Brillo pads? The seatbelt nothing more but a belt tied in a knot?
Also also how do they remove that plunger? You don't want to exert much force on the front window sooooo, use your fingernails to pop the seal?

@Viss nuh uh! I woulda been using my psp!
-
@Viss I sometimes daydream about tattooing adverts onto their retinas.
-
@Viss If you want my opinion, this should be considered assault.
-
@Viss Also, why the actual fuck do we have fridges that show ads?! Who the fuck looked at that fridge and decided that was better than the plain black monolith I have in my kitchen!?
Food go in, fridge make cold. That is ALL a fridge needs to ever do! -
ad tech/insertion is likely to give me apoplexy any day now...

I've tried putting things on windows with suction cups ... never works. But those are puny suction cups, this might actually work.
-
@Viss Yeah, I do not at all regret opting out of the "smart everything" stupidity.
-

@Viss No, that's an amputee Dalek.
-
@Viss This is why I have as few smart devices as possible, and keep the ones I do have disconnected from the internet. Also part of why I live in the woods in the mountains and spend my time in places where I’m more likely to run into bears than people.
@thomasareed @Viss got a used smart TV and I love keeping it disconnected from the Internet and using HDMI cables 😇

@raphaelmorgan @thomasareed in 2022 or so i bought a brand new sony tv. 4k, hdr, the whole 9. it was smart. there was no avoiding it. i have never let it touch the network, i use zero of its smart features, and its attached to a computer as a glorified monitor.

@Viss This is a massive improvement from an increasingly lost and frustrated mom driving +10 mph over the residential speed limit with her oldest daughter in the passenger seat hastily paging through the printed Mapquest directions with 3 of her soccer teammates in the backseat holding on to each other and a Tupperware container of sliced oranges for dear life.

@Viss
For many years my phone holder was a Coke can with the front cut off sitting in my drinks holder. I like to think the metal cradle it made acted as a Faraday cage and amplified the signal but really it was just shit.
