I don't know if this is good or bad. On one hand, cool a Republican lost, but on other, it gives Dems comfort ... maybe they won't actually have to do anything but vote.
This is state legislative seat and has very little to do with elections for the US House/Senate or President.

@arrrg it's OK to be joyful about this particular race, while also acknowledging Texas is a steep uphill battle. A 31 point swing from 2024 is remarkable. It's a special election, so turnout was low (something like 100,000 votes in a district with a million residents, I think, Texas Senate districts are large) and the Republican is an extremist who made a lot of soccer moms mad with her school board fuckery.
Nonetheless. A 31% swing in a "safe" red district is really something.
