The bed is a comfortable enough substitute for the sofa apparently.
¹) Luna&Tufu, the new kittens we adopted a couple of weeks ago, two miniature hurricanes.

she's fine!
She is used to sleep with us since she was a kitten, so we are graciously allowed the bed. It's also very convenient for her to keep me at hand and wake me up when she feels a little peckish in the morning. :D

ma se vedi che con tante distro recenti non ti funziona l'audio, meglio che provi a farlo funzionare su una piuttosto che provarne altre 100... c'è una utility di ALSA con cui avevo risolto lo stesso problema, ora vedo se mi riesce di recuperarla

I should note I upgraded the GPU three years ago, not because I had any performance problems, but because AI was becoming a thing at work (computer vision and object detection, not chatbots) and Nvidia dominates in AI and I had an ATI (or AMD?) before. So, that's probably contributing to my general lack of urgency when it comes to building a new machine. Also, I rarely play games that need a lot of performance, so nothing ever reminds me my computer is approaching ancient.
