For KDE I've recently settled on Alpine Linux. I've been around the block on Plasma and I can assure you it is one of the best out there. Couple that with blazingly fast mirrors, LUKS encryption, flatpaks and setup scripts and you have a winner. Not for beginners, but absolutely worth a go. Recommended!

@thesaigoneer Tbh, as the KDE maintainer for Alpine, I would actually recommend using it on postmarketOS instead so you have systemd. Not to say you can't just keep using it on Alpine though, I do support that option after all.

@bart Fair point. Atm I like the 'sleekness' of the Alpine setup. Have no beef with systemd btw. And previously already 'surprised' by the speed of KDE updates. Alpine isn't associated with DE's, but the ones they've got are really good (I'm on the Edge branch). Thnks for your efforts, much appreciated 👍🏻. And now we wait for the anti-systemd taliban to chime in 🤣
