All of your favorites are garbage. Celebrity culture is disgusting and it needs to end.
@ErickaSimone Also all supperrich people either got that way because they are disgusting psycho perverts or having all the money made them that way.

@MisuseCase this part too. Literally seems like the only way to obtain massive wealth (*heavy edit: AND COMMERCIAL MAINSTREAM FAME) is to be affiliated with pedos? Which was always what it felt like. Now we know.

*Yes. I am saying this as an (somewhat) active musician with a (somewhat) prominent presence inside music business, administration and artist development.
Music and celebrity/fame are two completely different things and it’s time we started separating them.
Celebrity ruins the universal* language, art and power of music everyday. Fame killed my favorite musicians.
It’s time for this excessive culture to end already.

@ErickaSimone Yeah, the Jay-Z and Pusha T evidence is damning, especially when they tried to claim that about Drake.
Def not a good look, and looking back, the boy did mention this when he talked about why he didn't release his other Pusha T diss.
Even Kanye said "Why the fuck would you go to that island?"
Yikes 😬
@dansup Bro knows ball. That Kanye reference has always stuck with me. I know he’s a bit nuts, but the fact that he called that out…. Just wow.
And OMG. I need to know EXACTLY wtf Pusha T was doing over there. As a heavily married man.
Also…. I always knew. The amount of Diddy parties I turned down in the early stages of my career. I also knew my career would take hits if I didn’t go. It was so tough to stay the course, but vindicating to know I was absolutely right.

@ErickaSimone Thats wild, and good for you girl for avoiding that!!
You must feel vindicated, with social media and the evidence photos circulating, it must feel like justice in a way.

I am CERTAIN this is true.
Related, turning politicians into celebrities has to be the worst of that culture by far.

@dansup I will always despise the fact they really want you to do weird shit to be “successful,” I will always be disgusted and sad for the women who went along with it (and are no longer to be found anywhere inside music). I hate that excess culture and hypersexualized, pedo behavior seems to be the bar for entry in mainstream music. I hate knowing in my heart I could be way farther ahead, but this was the issue.
Nevertheless, I was right from day one and I knew it.
Gotta just sit with it.

@ErickaSimone Your remark about disgusting (excessive) celebrity culture drew me to your profile. I immediately agree with you; but your remark is all the more surprising and 'cool' when I read your bio and see how music and the business of music appears to be such a large facet of your life. I'm curious as to 'hard truths'...re: 'exceptional music tastes'. Finally, I avoid curated playlists.

@ErickaSimone I can't even imagine girl, but you should feel so fucking proud that you knew you could go farther, even in those moments, when that wasn't so evident.
You are so iconic ❤️

@KGPittman thanks. This actually means a lot. Especially as the “odd woman out,” historically. Everyone wants to go to the parties. I wanna stay at home and have jam sessions with my clients. lol.
As for the “hard truths”… that’s more rooted in American society falling apart as a whole. I maintain straightforward honesty and clarity when it comes to that, much like celebrity culture.
And playlists. Yeah. I’m anti streaming and computer generated playlists. I can find it on my own. lol.

@RVLara23 celebrity culture in politics is how a nazi got into office because “Biden was boring.”
Absolute insane behavior.

@dansup sir, you’re the one saving the internet. I’m just trying to provide the safety strategy and do the music licensing when you achieve the dream. lol. 💜

@FediThing @RVLara23 yeah that sounds about right. Also, white. lol.

@ErickaSimone I dunno, still haven't seen Alyson Hannigan anywhere problematic (except the American Pie movies)

@ErickaSimone @KGPittman in defense of computer generated playlists, they can work great, the issue is that we're in an era where algorithms serve the streaming service (let it be netflix or spotify) and not the user.

@ErickaSimone what did I miss again?! (this has been my morning mantra since 2025).

@P__X I went to the Grammy party then was trying to figure out why everyone was weird at the Grammy party just to figure out half of the Grammy party might be in the Epstein list.
So very, very tired.

@Killertomato ally is a legend. May she fall outside of this foolery. lol.

@P__X @KGPittman so this might have been a fair call in early playlisting, but at this point it’s not even computer generated. Most of it is pay to play, which is why I keep a distance.
