Not remotely surprising. Threats & harassment are how MAGA ensures people comply. When lying sacks of shit in Congress — MTG’s good friends! — said Stanford Internet Observatory was a “”censorship complex”” that “targeted conservatives” to “steal the election from Donald Trump”, we got death threats. The Congressmen didn’t care. When we got subpoenaed and redacted student names to keep 20 year olds from getting harassed, they wrote a report saying we were hiding something. Depraved.

@renee.diresta it's the part nobody says out loud. If Trump directs criticism at you, mentally unstable men with AK-47s show up on the sidewalk outside your house. Why are GOP politicians so accommodating? Why do Democrats back down so easily? They don't want insane people calling in bomb threats to their grandkids' elementary school. It's nonstop political violence, it's intentional and it's organized.
