Running your own Fediverse instance and want to become more visible?
You can simply use relay instances to be interconnected with other instances to exchange posts and it works seamless with #Mastodon, #Pleroma, #snac / #snac2 and many other ones! If you're in tech, you might want to use:

You can simply add it to get a bigger reach but also to get more interesting content into your own timeline which becomes even more important on single user- & smaller instances.

@marzlberger@neander.social unfortunately not and it highly depends on your used solution and how long you keep the content cached locally. On my snac instance, it’s not requiring much more disk space

@visionaire The source of the problem is mostly Mastodon servers but the problem itself is inherent to the entirety of the Fediverse.

I’m getting a ton of spam on Mastodon. On the Jabber/XMPP side of things, we are doing a lot behind the scenes to combat it that regular users might not even notice.
I hope the people behind the scenes of Mastodon are working on similar things.

Ich bin Fan vom Känguru und „VIEWS“ ist auch wirklich sehr gut.
Ich frage mich, ob Marc-Uwe Kling (@marcuwekling ) der Sache nicht mehr geholfen hätte, wenn er angekündigt hätte, ab morgen ausschließlich im #Fediverse zu posten.
Die meisten Nutzer folgen dem Content und nicht komplizierten moralischen Appellen.

@snow come nella vita, dare l'esempio è il modo migliore per cambiare le cose.
Il Fediverso sta cambiando molto velocemente e la cosa importante è che sta diventando sempre meno identitario e sempre più inclusivo.
A noi amministratori di istanze pubbliche sta solo cercare di capire come evolverà e fare di tutto per renderlo migliore e per rendere più felici gli utenti ospiti.
