Every kid is an artist, before society trains them that they’re no good.
Similarly, maybe, every kid invests inanimate objects with life. Not just toys but chairs, blankets, rocks, everything. I remember being a kid and having concerns about objects’ feelings.
Not so different from many belief systems around the world. Maybe they’re right, and we all know it intuitively, before industrialized capitalist society grinds it out of us. -
