@studiofox a month or two ago I spent an hour on the phone getting my 25+ year old T-Mobile account closed out. For a variety of "T-Mobile is some serious bullshit" reasons. The biggest reason being they make you call them for nearly anything that reduces the amount of money you're sending T-Mobile. Like I need counseling if I want to cancel a line.

@swelljoe i switched from t-mobile last june - cancelled all the lines, etc. like they told me to do and then kept getting billed. i called and told them i cancelled and they said i didn't but i could if i went into the store, i went into the store and they said to call, etc. (this went on for a few months) and now i get a bill for the secret third line that never cancelled and called them up and they have "no documentation of me ever wanting to cancel"

@studiofox this thread reminded me I need to pay my last bill, and now having to chat with fucking support because their guestpay page does not work. It demands I login and link a number, which fails because it's no longer a T-Mobile number. Terrible company. Terrible website.

And like many car fixers that start using filler will tell you, if you use a lot of filler you don't end up with anything functional.
