my partner does not have a uterus.

my partner does not have a uterus. given the stories I have heard from fellow uterus-sufferers, I am SO GLAD my partner is sympathetic and kind and 100% believes me when I describe the pain and discomfort that I am in. my period has just disrupted our plans for today, which will have awkward knock-on effects for a week, and my partner just gave me a big hug then swiftly made alternative plans for us that would mitigate some of the awkwardness.
…I’m gonna go tell them I appreciate them, just in case they forgot the other million times I told them.

tbh one of the reasons our relationship works is that we are constantly thanking each other for doing the same shit for each other that we’ve always done. got to maintain that gratitude and appreciation.

@astronomerritt all of that sounds very like my marriage, and we're both incredibly thankful we found someone to do this with too.

@astronomerritt
We deliberately do the same for each other,. Especially for everyday things we both do like emptying the dishwasher or cooking.
It's really great to hear appreciation for everyday things. ♥️ -
