@MsHearthWitch @hermannus Hoho! I would never bicycle in such temperature 😳 Can barely do it with 24 C (sometimes even 18 C) since summers here tends to be very humid. 24 C can easily feel like 30 C with sauna effect.
@airikr @hermannus Yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said I struggle with The Weather. The last few summers have been blindingly hot WITH 90% and higher humidity for days on end. I can barely function in my house with AC, I cannot imagine biking.

Made the swap to Linux.
Started painting.

Last summer I had a blast riding up and down the Chicago lakeshore on an ebike with my daughter and her girlfriend. If you are serious about biking, you might truly extend your weather-range with an ebike. I bike to work in nice weather, but it's only half a mile each way for me, so I can't boast about it.

@sandorspruit @MsHearthWitch @brennen 😄 Biking is so common in the Netherlands, I cannot imagine life without them. And come to think of it. Very young children learn to bike on tricycles, bikes with some extra wheels when learning to bike. Then the rest of us would bike on bicycles. And then some elderly people again get a tricycle when they want to bike but need more wheels support.

@MsHearthWitch oh dang, you're gonna have a blast! It's so much fun! You can always just dip your toes in too if you're worried about weather or what not; just because you get a bicycle doesn't mean you have to bike *every* place (but you may find that you want to)! Welcome, and enjoy!

stamattina era sereno, avendo tutta la giornata ho deciso finalmente di mettermi a fare il massetto isolante con l'argilla espansa per il piano del forno a legna.
Quando stavo stendendo il secondo impasto, il cielo è diventato grigio. Stavo prendendo l'argilla per il terzo impasto e a quel punto inizia a piovere.
Ho fatto in tempo a mettere una copertura di protezione per quello già steso e ho rinunciato a proseguire. Non ha più piovuto mannaggia a chi dico io.
