Okay, so the pieces haven't fallen in place for this yet. But I am looking at recent news and trying to game things out. If near term risks are signs that:
- ICE could start going after trans people
- The FDA might start cracking down on DIYthen I see a bunch of people being like "I should build a back-stock of DIY estrodiol right now". But what happens if those two combine? Is there a future within the next year or two where trans people get raided for having "illegal supplies of drugs"?

@cwebber I think that panicking will just cause more problems. We need to find ways to survive, and we shouldn't let ourselves fall into paranoia.

@cwebber It seems likely? Germany isn't talking about those things in public very much. Every time I paste articles, people are surprised or put it off as yesterday's news. It would surprise me positively if the subject got more attention.

@cwebber I think it will inevitably turn into an underground system of drug manufacturing and trafficking harassed by deputized thugs until we can turn this boat around.

@cwebber I personally would still err on the side of not letting needed medication lapse than obeying people who want to kill us anyway. Especially if going off hrt compromises stealth or has dire health consequences.
It could be a new phase of the war on drugs with being trans turning into a new criteria they use to suspect someone for harassment (like how they racially profile and have loopholes that allow it).

@cwebber but I guess your point is more that people shouldnβt feel like there are no risks in stockpiling.

@octonion Indeed. One need game out what I think their gut sense of likely scenarios, and there are certainly trajectories, but the future has hardly been less certain.
