So I guess it's time for an #introduction. Well, I'm a 30 something #Black #queer woman. I love to read #books. I love the #NYKnicks. I like #bicycles even though, it's not my primary mode of transportation. I like refurbishing and upgrading old electronics, specifically #iPods and #laptops. #TV and music have kept me going more than anything else. I'm branching into #Linux and getting more familiar with #FOSS. I am a #blogger and I have linked my blog in my bio.

@CathyBikesBook I’ll talk Knicks with you any time. They were my team since before Ewing. I switched allegiances in the Paul Pierce era since I moved to MA then. But I can talk Trent Tucker and Bill Cartwright all day.

Here’s how I built my retro game collection.
I walked into EB games when they were clearing out their new Nintendo DS games, and bought them for C$0.49.
Nobody wanted them. They were too old to be appreciated by current gamers, too new to be loved by nostalgists.
Meanwhile, I said, “Half a dollar? Fine by me.”
You can still get deals like this nowadays but you have to care about what nobody cares about right now. This will pay dividends because eventually people do care.
