@davew Thanks for making WordLand. I wrote this post on my new Wordpress.com site using WordLand and it got tooted on my mastodon account automatically, so it works! One question. How did you get alt text to work on your postās photo? I still canāt figure out how I can do that on WordLand?
Everything in your main "Home" timeline on Mastodon is there for one of these reasons:
-An account you follow posted it -An account you follow boosted it -The post contains a hashtag you follow -An account you follow replied to an account you also follow -An account you follow replied to itself
Nothing else gets in your main feed, it's just these things.
If hashtags are at the end of a post they are displayed in a smaller font below the post, which some people miss.

@ChaplinTokyo that's because it's a screen shot of a blog post, and the prompting for the alt text came from mastodon when i pasted in the screen shot. wordland doesn't have the ability to set alt text for images -- it should. anyway glad you like wordland! it's still a work in progress as you can see. ;-)
@NatureMC @paulschoe @nhok so, one of the big question marks is how colourful all the animals are. At that depth, almost no light is present, so there's not a lot of evolutionary value in colourful displays. Nobody can see them!
