In upper Vermont, Waterbury Reservoir June of 2019, we ran across these Swallowtails. So many of them, flitting about the ground harvesting salts from the soil. They looked like leaves on an odd plant.

Just before COVID hit, a series of serious earthquakes hit Puerto Rico. After Hurricane Maria, these felt like salt on the wound.
My father experienced neither of that, he's been dead a long time.
I just had a dream I took my father to the movies. To see a film about those earthquakes. In the dream, after the movie starts, I tell him I will get popcorn. But the cashiers outside are gossiping and I end up not buying anything. I feel bad that I didn't get my father some popcorn...
