abolish timezones@alexia Why not, in fact?
They're just cycling numbers, in the end, it doesn't really matter what those numbers actually are. If you lived in Australia, your day could look like:
16:00 wake up
17:00 start work
02:00 finish work
03:00 dinner
08:00 bed timeYeah it looks odd but you'd soon get used to those numbers matching your daylight hours.
Having the DATE change in the middle of your daylight hours may be more awkward though?

@rozeboosje @alexia I have a circadian rhythm disorder that makes my sleep not line up with days and yeah you do get used to different numbers on the clock
Dates are 100% more of an issue though, I regularly get dates mixed

@CrisColor @rozeboosje oh, is there a name for that sleep thing? I have been complaining about an issue that sounds exactly like that for a really long time now but I didn't know that it was something you could get officially diagnosed -

@alexia @CrisColor Yeah that sucks but like Alexia I'd love to learn more. I don't think I have a "disorder" but there are weeks where I struggle to sleep when I "should" according to the numbers on my clock and my work commitments.
But the date, yeah, I can see that being a problem. I'd say it would be very awkward to have to change your mental idea of "what day it is today" in the middle of the morning or the afternoon.
