@StarkRG @georgetakei i used to say philosophy is what differentiates humans from animals, but we always dehumanize behaviour we dislike and we have to acknowledge that these individuals who don't introspect or don't think or else ate indeed also humans. I'm not even sure psychiatrists have names for them, there simply are different types of minds.
@dwalin_7 @georgetakei Human is our species, I'm not saying someone who is truly incapable of introspection isn't human, I'm saying they're not *people.* And I'm not talking about someone who doesn't introspect, but someone who actually *can't.* If you don't introspect, purposefully analysing and modifying your own behaviour, then you're giving up any semblance of free will, you're essentially an automaton reacting to external stimuli. If you actually *can't* do that, then you simply *are* one.

I'm starting to think some of them are philosophical zombies - in that they have no inner lives - which perhaps explains why they think chatbots might be people and other humans are expendable.

They've one at capitalism so we should put that one away, get another game out with a very different way of keeping score; one that doesn't reward concentrating/hording counters

Everything about packaging/deploying Python is poison, intentionally hostile to stability over time. I don't have strong feelings about Python, the language. It's fine...not my favorite, but it'll do. But, the ecosystem? The way Python devs view backward compatibility? Just hateful to people maintaining a lot of code that has to run on a variety of systems over many years.
