@Paradox @raccoon I grew up in a time where smoking was pervasive, even indoors, and the lingering stench from walls, clothing and hair, the ashtray breaths, and conjunctivitis from exposure are much more effective than any potential visual appeal. Even today I can detect people smoking *in the open air* within several meters and that's enough to grate me.

I've been around it exactly once and don't remember it being bad, but my dad did make me wash my shirt when I got home. Maybe I'm not sensitive to it.
It's more the visual, for me. And it does have bad angles.

@Paradox not @raccoon but personally I find the smell unbearable and suffocating, and not in a nice way. That around is sufficient to remove any element of coolness from it.
