@genehack to be fair to my gerrymandered and disenfranchised neighbors, I think it's worth being aware of how broken the proposition process is in Texas. The language of the propositions is determined by the extremist Republican dominated legislature. So, they nearly always pass if the leg wants them to pass, because they make it sound extremely reasonable.
They didn't, for example, mention that it is already illegal for non-citizens to vote.
