@nyhan Amd people wonder why, within a couple of months of starting to use computers at work, I had switched to ISO 8601 date formats (though not having Internet access, I didn't know that for most of a decade).
I checked. ISO8601 came out in 1988, about when I was getting caught by the problem. Obviously something in the air then. -
