Oh my gosh...the hotel that UVic got for me is so fancy it's... embarrassing? Horrifying? I got a "free upgrade" (extra free because I didn't pay) to a suite and this is actually bigger than the ground floor of my farmhouse. And it's 10 stories up. And there's a balcony. This is... super weird. (It actually wasn't very expensive, either. I guess nobody wants to visit Victoria in winter, except people who live in Saskatchewan). #ProfSamLectureTour

Dual computer monitors, for twice as much work!
I use a 40 inch tv for a monitor, the 55 is a bit too much tracking, since I have no peripheral vision. Though my 10 degree sure appreciate a readable font!

@ChateauErin it's not great, but I'm mostly used to it. it's loud, only in one ear, and never goes away. it changes it's shape (for the lack of a better word word), which is kinda interesting at least. i can partially tune it out if I've got music to focus on though which is nice
