@n0toose YouÂŽll never know what youÂŽre missing. IÂŽm running on JavaScript the whole day long and couldnÂŽt feel more European and included! Somedays itÂŽs a bit wonky and I donÂŽt quite funct

@n0toose you don't need to sell it to me, just give me it.

@n0toose to go to any country of the union and just find a job an live there is incredible and something many europeans ignore / don't take advantage of.
The coming together and possibility of resisting oligarchies is another opportunity that just does not exists at all anywhere else in the world as of A.D. 2026.
Does EU has oligarchs too? Yes, but we also have a functioning parliament. Who cares for democracy in the Union should fight for democracy in their own country to send reps that represents the interest of the people. -

Now that you mention it, JavaScript does feel very European.

@tthbaltazar @julya @n0toose Well... nah. Or rather: depends.
Languages from one group become progressively easier, if you know Dutch and English the Scandinavian languages are no problem (and permutations thereof). Picking up Polish would be way more difficult in that case. -

@n0toose Oh God, mandatory JavaScript for all EU citizens? I am revoking my citizenship immediately⊠/lh /j

The small amount of German I learned at school helped me learn Dutch as an adult and then both of those languages together with English made it easier for me to learn Norwegian.
My current level of Norwegian allows me to read both modern BokmÄl and Nynorsk written dialects and also older forms of written Norwegian.
Plus allowing me to read and understand a most written Danish or Swedish that I encounter in my daily life.

@n0toose This doesn't go far enough. I demand no less than the benefit of having to enable TypeScript to run this app.
