@OliviaVespera Mostly read art, architecture and design blogs and articles on an old ipad using Reeder app (in Reader mode) although also have the same feeds in Net News Wire app. I did use Firefox with a plugin for a while for some news sites but got so distressed with the ânewsâ that I gave up. Now I just have a creative feed of articles that is very closly curated and shows me more positive things.

@mensrea so you use a hosted solution as your feed reader?

@OliviaVespera I use Feedly.com (since Google scapped their RSS aggregator) and Palabre on Android (but I just noticed it is not in the play store anymore đ).
Palabre has the possibility to download items to be viewed offline, but generally not the whole article. But enough to decide I want to read it or not. I then mark as read the others and when online, i can synch all. -

@OliviaVespera yeah. it's a self-hosted nextcloud instance with a feed reader extension called News. there is a mobile app for News that i have used but not much any more

@Chloeg which readd reader did you use for firefox?
@OliviaVespera I used Feedbro. It is still working but it does seem to only show part of the article so I cant really recommend it.
The reason I switched to Reeder is that it produces really beautiful feeds with as much content as possible.

@OliviaVespera I use Inoreader.
It has a web client, which I happen to use with Firefox on Linux but is browser independent, and a mobile app I run on Android. Inoreader comes with a browser extension for subscribing to RSS feeds and saving pages to its read later feature.
