@Techaltar Didn't think anything could be worse than "smartphone app for 'parental control' called SpyX" in terms of creator sponsored video pitch, but brands always find a way.

@Techaltar
I hate it so much. This sort of slop very nearly put Clarkesworld Magazine under. -

@Techaltar We have a tool for that already, it's called the Romantasy section of your local library :p
I am throwing unwarranted shade. Romantasy still requires skill to write even if the result often seems a bit cliché.
This startup will only produce the mode cliché and lame books out there and not even require skills....

@Techaltar They have a contact email address on their site. Wouldn't it be great fun to pepper them with questions regarding copyright and ownership of the slop they produce?

@Techaltar You know, I can see this as an okay idea. I understand the need. I have plenty of book ideas myself but I am not good with writing. The issue is that a) it will suck for sure and b) it will be done by something that was learning on illegally (or at least unethically) acquired content.

@Techaltar did they but a physical address we can go to, hm, communicate our opinion on their idea in a most impressive way, perchance?
