so i've been trying to level up my watercolor skills. Drawing cute cars on a white paper is fun but as soon as i'm trying to paint some lighting and backgrounds i feel stuck. So it's time to do some photo studies!

here's my ref (https://www.instagram.com/p/Ci2poDQuEHG/)can't say i'm happy with it, the dark areas look way to muddy. Even if i like seeing the grain of the pigment in general, it looks terrible on this "watercolor" paper! i liked it better on my regular paper but my regular absorbs water too fast, wraps a lot and dries too slow 😅
Also the picture looks way better than the scan lol -
