Summer asked me to take her outside. She wants to get her steps in for this afternoon. We are trying to get a few laps up and down the driveway together once an hour.
While we walk Summer barks at the crows who like nothing better than to get a rise out of her. The crows stay on their safe power line perch.
I try to distract by pointing out the glorious cloud formations white against the blue sky.
We practice our deep breathing.
I don't think we are burning up very many calories but I feel a bit happier so it's worth the effort.
Summer says me too.
