Trying to google information is fucking useless with this.
Does anyone here know anything about how to even figure out what stores sell high quality eyeglasses? Any recommendations?
With other stuff there's usually some niche forum with nerds that will talk at length about what's good but I can't find anything. It's all AI-generated marketing slop.
5 years ago under 100€ got me metal frames and lenses with an anti-glare coating that doesn't care about alcohol wipes, now all the chains tell you you need to buy their expensive wipes or they will ruin your glasses.
I'm looking for prescription lenses with an anti-glare coating, maybe photochrome coating, and maybe aspherical (since that reduces distortions for astigmatism allegedly). And like you know ideally solid enough so I don't have to worry about what wipes I use.
And for frames probably something full-metal. -

We report: we chance a last look at the sky before going to sleep, out of habit. We think we know it will be too cloudy to see anything, but we can never go to bed without a last look. We remember why that it is upon seeing the stars. A bit of fog moves between constellations.
