Did your IT job interview go amazing? You thought they loved you? Do you remember laughing with a friendly interviewer and thinking you had made a connection? Yet, a week later, they rejected you? You are not alone. most people genuinely don’t understand this process anymore. Please don't beat yourself up, be kind to yourself. The whole job market is like this. @pixelbandito me too. I make a point to get outside my filter bubble, but I tend to avoid engaging because they assume I’m acting in bad faith. I don’t want to argue, I want to debate

99.8% of the time it’s not a conspiracy or even a very complicated evil plan. It’s incompetence, bad communication, poor incentives, and/or unvarnished greed.
Evil, as a rule, is *incredibly* banal
