Some people don't understand why we are so against LLM, Gen AI or Coding Agents:
- To them it is just a tool, you get to choose when you will apply it.
To many of us, it was not a choice:
- It is an assault on employment and wages.
- It is a drain on mental health and relationships.
- It is an insult on artistic expression and craftsmanship.
To those who believe they are neutral on this:
- Talk to recent graduates;
- Talk to actual artists;
- Talk to workers forced to use AI tools.

*It is my belief that you are not one of those AI tech bros, I have seen much much worse.*
But to think there is a "Team Anti-AI" and a "Team Pro-AI", and both of whom are too extreme in their views, is a reductionist view at best.
If you are a tech-fluent person, who think AI is just a tool to most people:
- I suggest you step outside of your bubble for a bit;
- Go read some reporting on tech companies internal memos;
- And see how much AI are shaping their executive decisions.

And you are free to believe I am one of those radical Anti-AI person, or one of those old men yelling at the digital clouds.
But before you go, allow me to present how the Pro-AI side are doing:
- This is the AI-Native future some employers are looking for.
- They are looking for a whole new breed of programmers who are AI-First.
- They believe in a future, where people who have no shame on committing code no one has reviewed before.

It is pure irony that, despite being one of the most human-resource intensive industry (AAA gamedev).
Despite spending billions on Gen AI and LLM to replace asset creation workflow, to improve coding productivity, to speed up log file analysis:
- We failed to replace anything human in the game development.
- We still need as many people as we do before.
- We still crunch just as hard if not harder.
- We still hand-wrote our bugs, we still debug our own mistakes.

And above all, our employers are still looking to hire AI-native persons to replace all of these:
- It will be possible next year!
- There are so many potential growth in the AI era!
- Senior programmers who don't want to use AI daily are the problems!
And somehow, we are the unreasonable persons in the room.

Here to 2026: if AI has ever accelerated anything in this world.
It is my fading willingness to work in these companies ever again.
