I just wanted to update you a bit with regards to my family members. My brothers are with me, but most others are still in Gaza City.

My father is okay, thank God, but he suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes, which makes things more complicated as we try to move south. We're thinking of getting a wheelchair or cart so I can push him, and maybe the same for my mother. My sister is five months pregnant and likely won’t be able to walk that long, so we’re also considering using a donkey cart to help her.
Despite everything, thank God everyone is alive and safe so far — my family, my sister’s husband Shadi, their 4-year-old son Khamis, my father and mother.

@francescotoniolo Grazie per aver coperto quell'area della MGW. Quest'anno tra l'altro finalmente le hanno dato anche più spazio espositivo degli scorsi anni, spero che si sia fermata molta più gente dagli espositori.

Meno male che ieri ho registrato la newsletter. Pronta da una settimana rischiavo che il mal di gola rovinasse tutto per una volta che ero in largo anticipo. Ora posso soffrire in silenzio con la gola che sembra una grattugia.
