she has doubtless hate watched a bunch of other videos which did not move her to comment. this one just pushed her over the edge. it was the recent rossini barber recitative i just did. interestingly i have posted some dire crap lately that didn't provoke her but the barber recitative is imo fine enough for an amateur effort. the established pattern is now clear: she is specifically upset by barber of seville content. so now to engineer barber stuff specifically to piss her off even more

clearly barber gatekeeping. yes safeguarding the exclusivity of one of the most popular operas of all time and one that is most likely to attract amateur interpretations

the Paisiello Barber finale and the recent recitative are inoffensive in as much as they are not grating to the ear. like what's "wrong" with them is underdeveloped technique and not anything like being out of time or out of tune. i have plenty of videos that are snippets of what ive been practicing lately that have screeched head voice, wrong notes, and other horrors but those dont upset her as much as blandly amateurish barber content

alternative theory: she doesn't specifically care for barber, that's just what the algorithm serves to her, thus she has yet to see my deliberately trollish Tosca and Luisa Miller videos. I can test this by doing more Tosca and Luisa Miller videos and tagging them Barber of Seville

current plan: ive already been practicing "Empio dirò tu sei" ("You are wicked, I say") from Julius Caesar In Egypt so ill knock out a half minute of that and put Barber of Seville tags on it. And if anyone questions me I'll be like wait I thought Cesare was Barber's librettist???

i have mutuals who are professional spinto sopranos who idolize Esperian and would adore to make contact with her but they have not been deemed as worthy of her personal attention as the programmer singing in silly hats for fun
