still dunno what to do with block game's community aspects 😔 i'd like to have a forum but i don't have the energy to set up and maintain one, especially when it's so much easier to create a discord server

@eniko I mean, if you have to depend on an external service anyway, why not a community on lemmy or similar federated forum/aggregator?

@eniko yeah, for lemmy specifically devs are quite on the tankie side, and that's on a good day, and there's a small crowd of Reddit defectors that brought their toxic mentality over in some servers, so usual caveats apply, but there's other software with similar functionality that AFAIK is less problematic in the community/social sense (mbin, piefed). No idea how good the moderation tools are on them though.
