The GO COMPUTER NOW!

The GO COMPUTER NOW! campaign has launched! Help @bzotto.bsky.social make his book about the early personal computer company you never heard of, Sphere, become a reality. I edited the book and it is a *fascinating* story of what might have been. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bzotto/go-computer-now-the-story-of-sphere?ref=e6dg18

@glennf Hi Glenn, in the meantime, take care of yourself. Unfortunately, as much as I really like the idea of the Sphere Kickstarter project, and I supported you and Marchin, this time around, backing a $35 project with $30-$50 shipping costs is truly impossible. I feel sorry for you. Take care.

@mora Thank you! Yes, we keep looking for affordable international shipping but at 3 lbs, the cheapest method is absurd!

@mora in the US, we can charge roughly $7, because there’s a discounted book rate and we’re mailing inside the country.

@glennf Perhaps an e-book reward could help retain the project's international supporters?

@juandesant @mora The author only wants to do a print edition, and I respect his wishes! The same was true with Shift Happens. Sorry—international shipping out of the United States is currently (maybe forever) terrible.
