Is there anyone on the Fediverse who has experience with getting ActivityPub to talk to WordPress? One of the community orgs I’m involved with is considering making a Lemmy instance as a bulletin board, but would like to sync it with the existing WordPress site that most members are used to. Would love to know if anyone has explored that already, particularly with the current WordPress ActivityPub plugin. #activitypub #wordpress

@brandonlivesin@social.seattle.wa.us FWIW if you're thinking bulletin board, Lemmy is a poor fit. NodeBB is better because it's actually a real bulletin board, not a reddit-like.

@praetorim @brandonlivesin it works fine with lemmy and other threadiverse platforms when you enable Blog and Author Actors! This way, the plugin creates a Blog User that lemmy handles as topic and all posts by the blogs users will be published as threads in this topic! I am happy to give some more context if you need!
