@cwebber one thing though is that the hackability of the whole surrounding hardware around the SoC itself is.. kiiind of a superficial thing? most of the "computer" is inside of the SoC, the PCB and the metal/plastic shell around it aren't that interesting to "hack" imo. except for maybe making your own board to fit a SoM into a cool retro laptop you like.. but if the whole laptop is already "made to be hackable" there's kinda not much need to do anything at all?
I like MNT, of course, but I think that selling point is kind of a stretch.
