My local post office is somehow the worst one. No outdoor dropbox, they removed the drive up one by the road years ago, and they lock the lobby and the gate to the parking lot outside of business hours. Never seen anything like it. Every other place I've lived I could walk or bike over and drop off mail, check the PO box, etc. in the middle of the night and never have to interact with people or disrupt my schedule to make it there during the quite short open hours.
