C'est le genre de truc qui arrive forcément quand la justice disfonctionne, comme c'est le cas pour ce meurtre aux US.
Certains citoyens ne l'acceptent pas, et agissent selon leurs moyens. -

The #Befana is an old lady who brings sweets to good kids on January 6th.
If you've been bad, you'll get charcoal.
You put out actual socks (generally your parents' larger ones) to be filled.These days it's a minor holiday, but it was more important than Xmas a generation ago in Rome.
I still do it for my family.
