@yugthebug @stevenrosenthal We are *long* overdue for splitting up the Democratic party (and straight up eliminating the Republican party.)
Ok, really we need ranked voting and other stuff that would enable our democracy to be democratic instead of not, but, if we must have two parties, we at least deserve one to actually be on the left...

I hear people talk about Right, Left, Capitalism, dictatorship, Socialism, Communism on & on. Non of those is real, they are abstract theories that in & of themselves don't work.
Don't start at the Top. You've been given a democracy & that means nothing more than having a nation that is controlled, built & cherished from the Bottom Up. Think, Act & Work to keep it alive. Vote & work to make it better, there are so many parts that need fixing.

But then too, we're experiencing massive campaigns from every type of media to trick people into not voting, voting for those who can't win (especially because, as I said, no ranked voting,) etc etc rather than voting for the only other candidate besides the nazi.

@A_Minion @yugthebug @stevenrosenthal It's worth noting also that, if you go by media and etc, quite a lot of people here in America still honestly think things are basically normal. That this will all go away in three more years and it's no big deal. They don't hear about the attacks on civilian boats, they don't hear about people being kidnapped, tortured, and put into concentration camps. They just hear spin and propaganda. A lot of people honestly have no idea it's this bad.

Each is a place to see who they are. Even djt gave us plenty of information about what an asshole he was. Loud & Clear. Take Reagan started as Actor, Union leader, governor then President. He cheated and lied all the way, but there was time.

We *did* have time past tense. We don't now. The regime is doing everything it can to ensure we do not even get a fair vote for the midterms and there is a 0% chance we'll get another fair presidential vote if the regime remains in power that long.
But that's all assuming we don't all get annihilated in WWIII when everyone starts dropping nukes or killed in concentration camps.

But... that doesn't mean life as we know it will survive necessarily either. Certainly humanity can't adapt fast enough most likely.
This regime certainly acts as if they want to speed all that up though don't they? I think a lot of them have bunkers or really big yachts and think they can just wait it out, but even if they could they'd never survive in that world and they'd go insane without their cults anyway.

I keep saying that more than half the states have no laws against carrying concealed or open to the polls.

@yugthebug @A_Minion @stevenrosenthal Sorry, I guess what I'm trying to say here is we all need to be afraid. We can't just ignore this and expect it to go away on its own. If the regime continues gaining power, there is no positive scenario. And we are running out of time fast.
I don't know what the answers are though. Obviously us normal people can't impeach him. I do think one thing most of the world can and should be doing is trying to get the average American to realize what's going on.

Not because I chose English as my preferred language of expression, but because if I wrote it in Korean, it would either be ignored or filtered through whatever tool my interlocutor happens to have on hand—and any resulting misreading would be treated as my problem. So I write in English, carefully, to preempt that. Is that a voluntary choice? Formally, yes. Practically, it sits much closer to the “imposed” end of your spectrum than it might appear.
The contract model works cleanly when both parties have genuinely equivalent alternatives. When one party's only real options are “use this tool” or “don’t participate,” the contract framing starts to obscure more than it reveals.

@jfkimmes this does explain something: it seems to be able to invoke tools when it is planning, but then those tools do not get invoked in the final step.
so it uses tools to read files when planning, then fails to use tools when executing.
what a fascinating conundrum.
